Description
We are specialized in manufacturing URTF (Universal Rotary Tilting Furnaces), which are used for secondary aluminum extraction. Reckoned for robust construction and precise engineering, these furnaces find application in aluminum scrap processing industry. Available in various specifications, these can be tilted as well as rotated.
Process:
- Furnace is locked shut after aluminum is loaded in it with the smelting salt
- Material is heated with the help of furnace oil and air until it reaches melting point. This is done by firing the burner that is mounted on door.
- URTF rotates continuously during the whole melting process; this improves the rate of heat transfer from the burner to the aluminum. The rotating movement also help in separation of liquid aluminum from oxide and other impurities
- Heating up is considerably faster that results in less oil consumption and saving in melt loss
- The burner can be switched off when all the aluminum scrap is melted
- The liquid metal can be poured in to the holding furnace or to the other station by tilting the furnace after the furnace door
- Through tilting the furnace even further the salt cake can be taken out
