Epoxy Resin Cast & Oil Cooled Transformer

CTs are designed to be encapsulated in epoxy resin under temperature & very high level of vacuum. This results in excellent electrical and mechanical properties. The non ageing properties of epoxy resin ensure long life of the product. CTs are integrally moulded and can be mounted in any position. They are not affected by chemicals, solvents or corrosive atmosphere. The epoxy surface has excellent resistance against tracking. CTs are made with low loss, non ageing type CRGO steel cores of torodal shape to give the best accuracy and other related requirements. For wound primary winding, the terminations are in such a way that during short time dynamic currents is the least. All CTs are fully type tested as per latest IS or IEC standard.
