Dispersants And Defloculants

Dispersants And Defloculants are proprietary tannin based chemicals, used for control rheology and reduces fluid losses, extends temperature limits, emulsifies oil, reduces flocculation and stabilizes water base drilling fluids. These are readily soluble at high temperatures and are effective in low concentration without requiring the use of caustic soda. In solution, these chemicals have an alkaline pH therefore these do not require large caustic additions to maintain a stable pH. Moreover, these chemicals are partially soluble additive that provides thin, low-permeability filter cakes accompanied and in dispersed systems as a synergistic additive with lignosulphonates. It is advised to premix to the active systems and are most effective in mud system with an alkaline pH in the range of 9 to 10.5.
