Description
Vibrating screens work on the mechanism of a common sieve. When some materials are put in the sieve and it is vibrated, the materials bigger in size then the sieve holes are retained and the remaining gets released through the sieve holes. Vibrating screens are made up of 2-3 different surfaces each surface having different size of holes but uniform holes on a single surface. When the material is introduced on the screen, a mechanism vibrates the screen and particles that are of undersize pass through the first screen and falls on to the second screen where the same process categorize it to fall through the holes.
Vibrating screens are efficiently used to classify coarse to crushed materials. They are popular in screening of sand, gravel, compressed stones, chemicals, slag, coal, minerals and other natural resources.
